Brighton is a great thriving cosmopolitan city right on the South Coast and we make sure that many of your activities take place right in the centre. We offer structured and interesting morning lessons of 4 hours per day for 4 days. After that you will have stimulating afternoon programmes where you can take part with new friends from the course. You will soon make new friends as we try to host you with other students on the course. You will return to your own country having made new friends and found your independence.
Traditionally Brighton has been the summer residence of British people from the lowly working class people who could only come for a weekend or one week to the Royalty who own their own house here. The Brighton Royal Pavilion, of which you will visit during your time with us. Yes, Brighton is the favoured holiday vacation for everyone of all social levels. With low crime rates and an active social life, there is something for everyone and is certainly the top of most people’s list.
Its also known for having little wind and lots of sunshine for being strategically placed on the south coast of England. Although the beach is shingle, the water is warm and clean and swimming in the sea is a must when you come to visit. Be sure though, when it’s a sunny day you will find lots of people on the beach and many of them will be our International Language students.
Unlike London and other seaside resort towns such as Hastings; Eastbourne; Bristol or Bournemouth, Brighton is located close to its many historical monuments without the over crowding or security issues of other major Cities. Close to Brighton, there are also the smaller interesting towns of Shoreham by Sea; Rottingdean and Newhaven. Visit these if you are interested in either Marine or Sea Wartime history. You wont be disappointed. Don’t forget, the wonderfully atmospheric Naval town of Portsmouth is less than one hour away and its firmly on our list of places to visit on our weekly excursions.

Most importantly is that Brighton is totally multi cultural and it has been a long standing tradition to make everyone feel at home here. So whatever your beliefs; religion or gender, Brighton will always make you feel “ at home”
The North Laines in Brighton is a little like a tiny London. In fact it has been called London by the Sea. The North Laines is like stepping back to the 1960’s. Wonderful markets selling unusual and curious second hand items; smart and chi chi boutique shops for clothes and books and more vegetarian cafes and restaurants that you could ever wish for. At the last count there were over four hundred independent shops there = and growing weekly. Once visited, you will want to return again and again….
Finally don’t forget Brighton Beach and Brighton Pier. Both of these feature heavily in our afternoon activities. On the last day we always have an afternoon on Brighton Pier which is guaranteed to make you lose your stomach on the many fun and exhilarating rides at the end of the Pier. Piers are a Victorian invention and Brighton is rightly proud of theirs. Other afternoon activities will take you to the Beach for Beach Volleyball; or a cycle along the Boardwalk followed by an ice cream or even an afternoon on the water, should this be the week when we hire canoes and take to the High Seas.
